In conjunction with Durango’s 16th Bluegrass Meltdown, we are offering “The Bluegrass Express!”

Ride in the comfort of a Vintage Coach or one of our Premium-class cars behind a steam locomotive on the train to Cascade Canyon while listening to live bluegrass music! Entertainers will rotate among the 3 cars reserved just for Bluegrass Express guests. They will also play for all passengers during the 45-minute layover at Cascade Canyon.

Once you get back to Durango there will be a FREE concert in the D&SNG Museum from 5pm-7pm to officially kick off the start of the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown.

The Durango Bluegrass Meltdown is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of bluegrass music as an American art form. Since 1995, they have been presenting a unique experience in Durango, the gem of Southwest Colorado.

Alamosa Parlor Car: $109* (age 21+) Includes a private attendant to serve complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and premium amenities. A cash bar is also available.
Prospector: Adult $109*   Child $69* (age 4-11 yrs) Includes a private attendant to serve complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and premium amenities. A cash bar is also available.
Vintage Coach: Adult $79*   Child $59* (age 4-11 yrs)
*Subject to 4% Historic Preservation Fund

10% discount will be given to Season Pass holders.
