The Durango Melodrama and Vaudeville

Hiss the Villain and Cheer the Hero! The beautiful Henry Strater Theatre, at the Strater Hotel, has been the site for Melodrama in Durango since 1963 -- and family fun has always been center stage! This summer the Durango Melodrama will be featuring the George M. Cohen classic, "The Tavern", running June 11 -- August 21, 2010.  Each show also includes hilarious Vaudeville routines that are sure to fill your night with laughter and song. The Durango Melodrama, coupled with dinner at the Mahogany Grille, is a wonderful setting for an affordable night of family fun!
